The sophisticated and elegant Moss Lodge is minutes from the centre of Rochdale and junctions 20 and 21 of the M62.
The Visit Britain 5-star guest accommodation has a relaxed country-house atmosphere. Built in 1848, the restored building has individually styled en suite bedrooms with an LCD TV with DVD/CD player, luxury toiletries, a hairdryer and room service.

Moss Lodge is situated within 2 miles (3.2 km) of Rochdale Town Centre and 12 miles (19 km) from the centre of Manchester.
The area is very well served by bus and train networks, and local taxis. Rochdale is situated on the edge of the Pennines and is well positioned for visits to the local hills and to Hollingworth Lake, which is a very popular local attraction.
Travel information
By Car:
- Moss Lodge is only a mile from Junction 20 on the M62.
- At the roundabout at the top of the exit, follow the signs for Rochdale (A627M).
- At the end of the dual carriageway, position yourself in the right-hand lane and follow the signs for the A664 (Todmorden). Pass the Shell garage on your right.
- At the first traffic lights, go straight ahead and Moss Lodge is 100 metres on the left-hand side, at the junction of Kings Road.
By Public Transport:
Rochdale Railway Station is only a short distance away by taxi, and Manchester Airport and Manchester's mainline railway station are easily accessible by public transport or by taxi.
